Asia Podcast Awards are an annual awards program celebrating excellence in podcasting across Asia and the Pacific. The awards recognise the most outstanding individuals, teams, and organisations shaping the audio medium in the Asian media and marketing landscape, regardless of language or platform. With a comprehensive set of categories spanning genres: such as Best Comedy Podcast, Best News Podcast, Best Health & Wellness Podcast, and Best International Podcast—entries are judged by respected industry leaders, podcast creators, and senior editors from radioinfo’s international team. Winners are announced both online and at Radiodays Asia events, with recognition across radioinfo.asia and affiliated social platforms. The program aims to highlight creative achievement, innovation, and storytelling excellence from independent and major podcast publishers throughout the region.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Individual category awards are open to Asian and Pacific citizens or organisations – defined as one of the countries listed below.
China, including Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Turkey, Iran, Russia, Thailand, Myanmar, Sth Korea, North Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Azerbaijan, Saudi, Arabia, Yemen, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Tajikstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgzstan, Kuwait, North Korea, Nepal, Lebanon, Israel, Singapore, Palestine, Georgia, Mongolia, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Armenia, Oman, Bahrain, Timor-Leste, Cyprus, Bhutan, Laos, Qatar, Maldives, Brunei.
Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, the Kingdom of Tonga, Niue, Fiji, Kiribati, The Marshall Islands, Nauru, Palau, Vanuatu, The Solomon Islands, Tuvalu.
• Entries from countries outside of Asia/Pacific (as defined above) are permitted to enter the Best International Podcast category, but should not enter any other category unless they have an individual or organisational address in Asia and publish from that country.
