About

Tribeca Audio Storytelling is an official program of the Tribeca Festival that celebrates outstanding achievement in narrative, sound-rich audio storytelling by curating an Official Selection of podcasts and audio stories and recognizing excellence in independent and established audio work across fiction, nonfiction, and live audio experiences. The program highlights impactful storytelling through original audio productions and immersive sound presentations, bringing creators and audiences together through both festival competitions and live events, including world premieres, live tapings, and conversations with artists.

Projects selected for the Tribeca Festival Audio Storytelling program receive Tribeca laurels and are eligible to win a Tribeca Festival Award for Audio Storytelling, while independent creators also gain opportunities for broader industry exposure, live event showcases, and participation in the Tribeca Creators Market with leading decision-makers in storytelling fields. The program reflects Tribeca’s commitment to elevating narrative audio within the broader context of creative storytelling and cultural expression at one of the world’s most influential arts festivals.
