Solintel Wins Tallinnovation Award to Deploy Energy-Independent Smart Bus Stops in Tallinn

Solintel has been awarded top recognition in the 2026 Tallinnovation competition for its deployment of energy-independent smart bus stops designed to improve urban resilience and sustainable transportation infrastructure in Tallinn, Estonia.

The Tallinnovation competition, organized by the City of Tallinn and Tehnopol, recognizes innovative smart city technologies focused on public safety, operational continuity, sustainability, and urban infrastructure modernization. According to the announcement, Solintel received one of the program’s highest awards to support deployment of autonomous smart bus stop systems powered by renewable energy and IoT-based management technology.

The smart bus stops are designed to provide real-time public transportation information, lighting, connectivity, and remote monitoring capabilities while remaining operational during power disruptions. Organizers noted that the project was selected for its potential to improve transportation reliability, city resilience, and sustainable urban development.
